There are several areas of shrinkage in the uppermost paint layer; various scattered tiny spots of paint loss, the nature and cause of which is unclear (does not appear to be common flake losses); and scattered spots of foreign material adhering to the surface (all of the foregoing as visible in the catalogue photos).

(In preparing this report the reverse of the work has not been examined, being presently enclosed within a backing sheet affixed to the frame.)
