Baluster-shaped with a pair of foliate handles to the shoulder, on a shaped square foot, the front decorated with a winter scene of a farmer feeding sheep from a horse-drawn cart in an extensive mountainous landscape, signed, the reverse with a landscape vignette, the upper and lower parts moulded and in colours and gold, printed factory marks underside

Overall condition good
Light wear to gilding in areas, most notably to the edges of the handles
No restoration visible under UV light
There are slight variations within and around the figure group (e.g., body of the horse, face of a sheep, in and around the tree behind) but these appear to be original variations in the decoration rather than restoration or damage
