Thence by descent
Noel was David's accountant and financial adviser for many years, and they became close friends. Noel and his wife Gwen greatly enjoyed David and Hermia's exhibitions, as well as their warm hospitality.
Picnic – a theme of the innocence of beautiful children enjoying themselves, oblivious to, or perhaps happily ignoring, the wider world's troubles, symbolised by the bushfire raging around them.
