The pearls are in excellent condition with high lustre. Each peal is circlé, therefore shows banding, blemishes and pit marks expected on circlé pearls. There is high lustre on the pearls with a silvery white and light pink hue.
The pearls are tightly strung with knots and hang evenly around the neckline.
The clasp of textured matt satin gold is in excellent condition with foliate motifs and gypsy set diamonds around that are are devoid of chips and abrasions and are secure in the settings. The twist clasp mechanism is tight when closed showing no evidence of damage and is not loose at all.
This is a beautiful set of pearls that has been cared for.
