Crown wind, fifteen jewel movement, circular white dial signed 'Cartier Paris', with Arabic numerals,14ct gold case, serial number 2388, 45mm diameter, with associated fancy link fob chain, total length 400mm. Engraved inscription to the reverse reads "In remembrance of this trip to Europe" "Rattanakosiai year 126 Bangkok"(1908) .Purported to be purchased in Paris by the late King of Thailand Chulalong Korn. The notes that accompanied the watch are available on request.

Over all condition good - Not recently serviced or timed - Ticking when wound - Dial damaged, lots of foxing and scratches - Case clean with some small small black marks and fine surface scratches to the front and reverse - The vendor provided some provenance that the pocket watch was purchased by the late King of Thailand Chulalong Korn, it was purchased on a trip to Europe on a trip to Europe in 1899. The information provided also says he was a student of Anna Leonowens.
