RETAILED BY G. PRINGLE, EDINBURGH, CIRCA 1820

The mahogany, Gothic style case with crenelated top to hood with arched apertures to each side of hood. The glazed hood door flanked by turned columns above trunk with full length door, dropping to ogee moulded shoulders above base. A 35.5 cm diameter circular painted dial, with centre sweep seconds and calendar work, signed G. Pringle- Edinburgh. An eight day, weight driven movement with a dead beat escapement. The Black Forest organ movement complete with wooded pipes. Full length opening trunk door on plinth base
