SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY

The teabowl of rounded conical form, the exterior with a tortoiseshell type glaze, the interior with three cloud-shape papercut designs to the cavetto, the unglazed base showing a sandy buff coloured clay.

5.4cm high, 11.5cm diameter.

The teabowl with a crackle to the glaze, some minor degradation to the sheen from burial, and patination through mineralisation from burial. No further faults or damage visible.
