In good condition consistent with age. The painting has been professional cleaned in 2019 by the Centre for Cultural Materials, Melbourne.
Minor indentation lines from stretcher bar visible from the front. Some marks and scratches to the frame.

This painting is likely painted around 1910 or prior, when Dora married Percival Serle.
