Untitled by Salome Felsinger is an engaging work, the creatures appearing as dragon-like butterflies against a glaring, hazy landscape.

Salome Felsinger is an emerging artist with a unique drawing ability. Her characters and the abstract landscapes they are situated in recall aesthetics found in Polynesian mysticism, Indonesian batik and totemic gods. Abstraction and fictional representation play equal roles in her compositions, which, at times, bleed into one another. Her works can be characterised by her curious archetypal symbols, repetition of form and her hypnotic use of colour and pattern.

Felsinger has worked in the Arts Project Australia since 2016. Her work is held in private collections in Australia.
