The playful piece Untitled (Madonna Celebration Girls) by Tim Noble pays homage to the pop queen, her golden hair surrounding her like a halo.
Tim Noble creates small-scale sensitive works in felt tip pen, marker and pencil on paper, often with watercolour and ink washes, and abstract, brightly coloured digital images. His practice reflects a range of subject matter close to his heart, with the work he creates acting as personal narratives told with a gentle touch and detailed imagination.
Noble has been a regular artist at Arts Project Australia since 2004. Since then, he has been included in numerous group exhibitions including Pearls of Arts Project Australia: The Stuart Purves Collection, National touring exhibition, Melbourne Art Fair, and was a finalist in Connected, Melbourne. His work is held in private collections throughout Australia.
