The delicate application of watercolour in this work by Jade Retemal captures soft sunlight on seedlings.
Jade Retamal is an emerging artist who experiments with a variety of mediums including watercolour and acrylic paint, felt tip pen and pencil. Her beautiful abstract landscapes have a dreamlike quality as she blends colour and form that are originate from life. Her application of acrylic is vibrant and playful, whereas her watercolour paintings are more sublime.
Retamal has been working at Arts Project Australia since 2018 and has participated in the Annual Gala each year.
