This piece demonstrates Brendan Slee's signature style beautifully, the cluster of robots happily gathered at the base of the paper.
Brendan Slee uses a highly personal visual language that encompasses numbers, robots, wrestlers and monsters. He has a distinctive spatial sensibility. His compositions feature finely detailed linework of symbols and characters cling to the borders of the paper or stand in the centre of the page in vast white space.
Slee has worked at Arts Project Australia since 2007. He has exhibited in numerous group shows including at Gallery 101, Ontario and Melbourne Art Fair, with work in private collections in Australia.
