A CHINESE FENCAI/FAMILLE ROSE BUTTERFLY BOWL
QING DYNASTY, TONGZHI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1861-1875)

The bowl shaped like a butterfly, decorated to the exterior in famille rose enamels as a butterfly, the rim gilt, the interior and base decorated with turquoise enamel. Six character Tongzhi mark in iron red to the base. Together with a fitted antique hardwood stand.
The bowl 6cm high, 17cm wide. Together with stand 13.5cm high

Sold for $1,900

One small chip to the inner edge of the mouth rim. Wear to the turqoise enamel in the interior. Some production faults to the enamel on the exterior. Old repairs to the hardwood stand.
