Of archaic bronze form, with two lug handles, impressed geometric decoration and applique mask handles to the shoulder, the whole covered in a grey-green glaze.
23cm high, 21cm diameter
Estimate $4,000 - $6,000
Restoration to the neck, possibly a marriage of two pieces. Some evidence of overpainting or lacquering to the handles and mask details. Some areas of glaze loss, particularly to the lower section of the vase.
