A CHINESE CARVED BISCUIT PORCELAIN BOX AND A VASE FOR INCENSE TOOLS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), 19TH CENTURY

The two unglazed white biscuit wares comprising a compressed globular box and a bamboo form vase, both with carved applique decoration of plum blossoms and butterflies. Together with original receipt of purchase.

The vase 12.5cm high, 5cm diameter

Sold for $400

Restoration to the base of the vase, hairline crqack with associated chipping to the base of the box. Minor losses to two blossoms on the lid of the box.
