A Katana, the blade honzukuri, iorimune, torii-zori shape with chu-gissaki, itame hada, nodare hamon, ubu nakago signed Bizen Kuni Ju Osafune Sukesada & Tensho Second year, Eighth Month (1574) on the reverse; in a green lacquered saya and typical military mounts.

Accompanied by facsimile documentation from the owner stating the sword was surrendered in Rabaul, New Britain (PNG)
