Of tapering form, the central crystal body nicely engraved with various fern specimens, the upper and lower body in sterling silver decorated with a beaded trim and garlands motifs. The hinged lid bearing a hound crest.

Generally in good condition consistent with age and use. The cover sits a little unevenly in the mouth causing slight gaps where they meet.
