In 1969, Sir Kenneth Clark wrote and presented a documentary television series called "Civilisation" outlining the history of Western art, philosophy and architecture for the BBC.
Clark was a longtime supporter of Constance Stokes' work, even referring to her as ‘one of the finest draughtsmen [sic] in the world today.'
