Meeting through a love of the arts, Norman Lindsay and Hugh Raymond McCrae were lifelong friends and collaborators. In 1928, McCrae released a book of poetry 'Satyres and Sunlight' which contained accompanying etchings by Lindsay including 'Satyrs and Starlight', 'Colombine' and 'Idyllia'.
