Patinated and incised bronze and ivory figure of a female dancer, modelled in a dancing pose, wearing a long flowing robe, her head with finely carved facial detail, head comb; the hands and feet also in ivory, signed Gyokoku or Gyoya

36cm high, 20.5cm wide, 14cm deep

The bronze with no visible repairs however the ivory right-hand broken at the wrist (temporary adhesive) and three fingers lost. Damage to right foot with evidence of previous repair.
