First quarter 20th century, richly chased in the Renaissance Revival style with strapwork scrolls, masks and birds, on four leaf scrolled feet, the bird shaped catch raising the oval domed top revealing a feathered singing bird on a pierced gilt panel, stamped 800.

In good condition, slight wear to highest points of cast decoration. Total weight 666 grams.
