The ply is in near-original condition and appears to have been protected by the Ruggletwist covering indefinitely. The covering itself shows significant signs of wear, through discolouration towards the front lower edge, and pulled yarn. The steel base shows minor points of wear, namely the back two legs that have smaller scuff marks. Rubber feet are intact and show some signs of cracking aligned with age.
