Lot 86

A CHINESE FAMILLE-ROSE PORCELAIN AND ZITAN TABLE SCREEN, 19TH CENTURY
The porcelain panel is finely decorated with a vibrant composition of flowers and butterflies, demonstrating exceptional artistry and meticulous attention to detail. It is mounted within a finely carved zitan wood frame, the reverse of which features an intricate design of five bats flying amidst swirling clouds above stylized waves, symbolizing blessings and longevity. The stand is further embellished with delicately carved floral scrolls and archaistic patterns, adding a harmonious touch of elegance and cultural depth to the piece.
