The chair has been reupholstered, yet contains the original CFC-free injection-moulded polyurethane foam, self-skinning polyurethane and mild steel structure within. The foam has begun to crumble and show signs of degradation, in line with age. The zips of the upholstered covering run smoothly. The original rubber cup feet no longer remain.
