The eight-day bell-striking movement and white-japanned Arabic numeral and calendar dial with convex glass cover in a drum case surmounted with a pair of doves at a basin and flanked by figures of Diana and Cupid and Amor, she breaking his bow, all raised on shaped marble plinth on toupie feet, the front mounted with a relief of disporting putti

Overall appearance good
Small chips, small losses and wear to the marble in places
There is a crack to the centre of the base of the plinth throught the underside the pendulum aperture (visible in the catalogue photos)
Two stained hairline cracks to the back of the marble case (visible in catalogue photos)
A chip visible to the dial around the key hole consistent with age and use
Small chip visible to the interior of the edge of the glass dial
Small compressions/dents to the metal inset edges of the marble base
Nut and screw lacking, otherwise general condition good overall, not recently serviced or timed
Bell, key and pendulum present
