This poster is part of Redback Graphix's collaboration with Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA) to raise awareness about the impacts of alcohol in Aboriginal communities. Illustrated in a sequential narrative format, it contrasts traditional life, colonisation, cultural loss, and community resilience. The imagery reflects a politically charged visual language, characteristic of Redback Graphix's commitment to social justice, health advocacy and Aboriginal empowerment. "Beat the Grog" is also connected to The Drug Offensive, a national public health campaign of the 1980s, and serves as a vivid example of activist screenprinting used to promote culturally sensitive health messaging.
