Centring a claw-set emerald-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.00 carat, mounted to a split band of twenty claw-set round old-cut diamonds to a half band, the diamonds together weighing approximately 1.60 carats, size K1/2, gross weight approximately 3.0 grams.
Estimate $800 - $1,200
XRF unit metal tests as base metal and 9 carat.
The ring is worn commensurate with age. The shank is wide but thin in height.
The shoulders are showing a natural dark patina on the metal that shows off the round white diamonds.
The claws show some wear but hold the diamonds securely.
The claws are straight.
The diamonds are in good condition with some abrasions visible through a jeweller's loupe.
The central stone is 1.00 carat with minor abrasions visible through a jeweller's loupe. The diamond is secure in the setting.
This is a unique ring that will be appealling to a collector.
