The cup of typical form with a shaped handle, the saucer circular with a deep well, each finely painted en camaïeu bleu with a scene of cupid amongst clouds with his attributes, painted by Francois Duverdy, within a richly-gilt shaped oval cartouche against a bleu lapis ground, the cup handle and foot gilded, with a dentil border to cup and saucer, blue interlaced Ls mark enclosing date letter D for 1756–1757 above an arrow and circle symbol
The cup 7cm high, 13.5cm diameter

Overall appearance good, minor wear to gilding in areas, and signs of regilding, minor surface scratches in places
