Early 20th century, the sculpture after Charles Emile Jonchery

The irregularly shaped and bevelled plate in a frame modelled as the fruiting branches of an apple tree raised on a support combining the trunk of the tree and the figures of a girl lifting a boy to reach the apples, the naturalistically modelled base cast with Jonchery's signature and mounted with a title plaque on a low red marble plinth, the angle of the mirror adjustable
52cm high, 29cm wide, 19cm deep

Overall conditon and appearance good
One small crack visible to boys right arm, measuring 0.5cm long
Some signs of light aging to the mirrored plate
Very small chips around the edge of the marble base, with two small associated hairline cracks
