Folio, comprising titles, frontispieces, prefaces, one hundred and fifty-seven colour plates reproducing the original hand-coloured engravings after Jacques Barraband (with tissue guards), descriptive letterpress (a facsimile of the French originals together with a new English translation of these), and wax-sealed facsimile of a manuscript letter, loose as issued, presented in two green cloth-covered Solander boxes, but with all one hundred and fifty-seven colour plates uniformly mounted and framed (by Brian Chester), the titles and frontispiece of one volume also framed (as one), all else remaining loose in the boxes as issued
