Lot 120

The baroque pearl is South Sea and is coloured silver white. It contains banding, pitting and blemishes that are expected in baroque, organic south sea pearls and are visible by the naked eye.
The diamond band is in excellent condition with the grain claws in position with no evidence of damage or repairs. The diamonds are devoid of chips and abrasions and are set securely around the pearl.
The bale is secure to the pearl and the pin cap is secure making a nice detail finish. There is a high polish finish on the pendant with no visible markings from careful care.
The chain is in good condition showing no evidence of damage or worn links and hangs as originally intended. The pearl pendant is secure on the chain and the bolt ring clasp is tight with the spring mechanism in good order. It is secure when closed.
