The circular top and pair of scrolling foliate handles extending beneath it raised on a knopped stem and circular foot, the centre of the top cast with a profile portrait of a Greek warrior, retaining some gilding, within a border of running scrolls of acanthus, impressed B.D. and B.I. and with various numbers underside
