Of floral designs throughout, the eight-point cream-ground medallion with pendants within a field on a dark blue ground with burgundy border and cream spandrels, the Herati main and guard borders on dark blue and cream grounds

With a few small localised areas of wear to the pile partly exposing the warp and weft but otherwise with no pronounced or uneven wear.
(In preparing this report it has not been possible to inspect area of the rug presently covered with a large desk although we believe the comments above apply equally to this area. The underside of the carpet has not been examined other than around some edges.)
