XRF tests 9ct, 14ct and some plating with base metal whiskers.
The brooch is in very good condition with the agate eye and body devoid of chips and abrasions. The gemstones are secure in the settings. The banded agate is even and crisp.
The single cut diamonds are devoid of chips and abrasions and are secure in the claw settings.
The metal is in good condition with clear texture in the ears, on the face and tail.
The pin is straight and the roll clasp is secure and tight when closed.
