EXTREMELY RARE LIGHTNING RIDGE BLACK OPAL AND DIAMOND PENDANT
Of cluster design, centring a claw-set solid black opal cabochon weighing 10.32 carats, within a frame of claw-set brilliant-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.60 carats, suspended by a chain, mounted in 18ct white gold, inner circumference 450mm, pendant length 36.5mm, gross weight approximately 20.5 grams.
Accompanied by:
a GSL report numbered AA65275, dated 15 July 2021, stating that the 10.32 carat black (N1), solid natural opal (Type 1), is of Lightning Ridge, NSW origin, mined circa 1980;
a Gregory box;
