W. BOYLE, CHEAPSIDE, LONDON, CIRCA 1845
Rectangular mahogany framed four glass case, the front case supports champhered and inlaid with brass. The case on ogee moulded plinth to front and sides standing on flattened bun feet. The square silvered brass dial and mask, dial engraved with Roman numerals and signed W.Boyle- Cheapside- London. The eight day, twin fusee, bell striking movement with anchor escapement.
