Lot 1
It is reputed that the Drum was once owned by the Duke of Wellington. It was used in military religious padres during Drum Head Services on various battlefields of Europe. These padres are featured in the artwork on the drum as well as the initials of William IV.

One side of the vellum is badly damaged, there are losses to the side of the drum, there are paint losses overall, structurally sound, some splitting to the edge and main body of the drum.
