Profusely decorated in high relief of classical maidens, putti, scrolls and flowers, the central two pierced panel drop holding a Joseph John Josephson verge fusse repousse decorated open faced watch, elaborately pierced and engraved balance cock, plain inner case, white enamel roman numeral dial blued steel hands. The repousse decorated outer case with a central scene of a soldier, a seated woman at a table and an old man surrounded by scrolls and flowers. Movement signed 'J. Josephson London'.

The repousse case is in good condition with fine surface scratching consistent with age. The white enamel dial has some chips to the edge and cracks. The chatelaine is in good condition.
