"17 October 1992
Gene Sherman and the Alliance Francaise Parisian exhibition is proceeding.
Yves Corbel, director of the Alliance, chose my Max Ernst on Pompidou Terrace with the old Parisian houses for the lithograph."

In this painting, Judy Cassab is portraying the sculpture "Capricorn" by Max Ernst, on display at the top of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
In addition to this painting, Cassab produced works on paper of this same subject in the years 1990-91. In 1992 it was chosen as part of an exhibition with Alliance Francaise to be produced as a lithograph.
