QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), 18TH CENTURY OR EARLIER
Raised on three cabriole legs with masks, a loop handle emerging from either side, and taotie masks to the front and rear of the vessel, the whole covered in a beautiful verdigris patina. Together with a fitted hardwood stand, and a domed hardwood lid embellished with a jade hat finial carved as a lingzhi mushroom group (probably Ming Dynasty).
33.5cm high, 28cm diameter

The ding with one broken and reattached leg (old repair). Old repairs to the hardwood stand. One section of the rim of the hardwood lid with a large chip (worn down). Encrusted oxidised verdigris patina to the bronze.
