STAMPED MONTFORT, 19TH CENTURY
The frame delicately decorated with floral motifs, the underside stamped 'MONTFORT'. Covered in a floral silk upholstery.
93cm high, 74cm wide, 72cm deep
Estimate $700 - $900
Loss to upholstery studs in areas (particularly above armrests on back) resulting in loose fabric and exposing the lining. Light staining and wear to upholstery in places (most significantly the armrests), with piping removed from underside of one cushion. Signs of old borer in places particuarly the legs.
These chairs have been restored and structurally sound and well suited to someone wanting a lovely signed pair of chairs to recover.
