Lot 63

JAMES R. JACKSON (1882-1975)
Harbour Scene, Sydney
oil on canvas
signed lower right: JAMES R. JACKSON
50 x 60cm

Estimate $4,000 - $6,000

Sold for $6,000

The work is overall in very good condition. Upon very close inspection there are some hairline cracks just above the largest tree, in areas of heavier paint build-up. These appear to be light and have not resulted in any pigment loss.
In the bottom right near the signature the canvas is very slightly warped. Overall framed size is 68.5 x 79cm.
