Mount Pisa, Otago, New Zealand
oil on canvasboard
signed lower right: Robert Johnson
titled verso
44.5 x 54cm

Estimate $2,500 - $3,500

Sold for $5,500

Work is in good condition overall. Upon close inspection there are patches of pigment in the sky that appear 'yellowed' in comparison with the remaining pigment. Under UV light these areas show minor fluorescing, indicating it is later pigment that has dried or aged to be a slightly different colour to the remaining pigment in the sky area. Framed with overall size 69 x 78cm
