The concertina action appears to work smoothly, but when extended the table is not entirely flat. The base has been fitted with a later wire cord presumably used to tighten and reinforce when extended. There are light scratches and dents overall including the leaves, one leaf having a small patch of deterioration. One half of the table top has a split, the other has a repaired split together with small minor repairs overall. There is visible bubbling and deterioration to the varnish on a section of the apron.
