Minor marks and surface scratches consistent with the age and previous use of the trolley are present. There are signs of aging in the form of minor rusting and a patina to the brass fittings. Some signs of delamination and cracking to the lacquer coating in various parts. Signs of warping, sun fading and discolouration to the wood, particularly to the bottom shelf. The castor wheels operate but not smoothly. The trolley has a bit of a wobble. The original 1950s felt lining under the shelves has deteriorated and faded. The glass in the top two shelves is in very good condition and all parts are accounted for.
