Blek le Rat's Rat stencil on wood is accompanied by a book created solely for his exhibition in 2011.

Recognised as the pioneer of Paris street art, Blek le Rat has been painting committed pieces in the streets since the early eighties. He is often described as 'the father of stencil graffiti'. Banksy has acknowledged Blek's influence stating "every time I think I've painted something slightly original, I find out that Blek le Rat has done it as well, only twenty years earlier".
