QING DYNASTY (1644-1912) OR REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)

Embroidered in silk on a silk ground with a pair of egrets wading in a lotus pond, with embroidered inscription and seal to lower right. Mounted in Japan with silk and gold brocade.
The embroidery 35cm high, 46cm wide. The scroll mount 126cm high, 59cm wide

Minor faint foxing spots to the embroidery. Foxing, stains and creases to the scroll mount.
