Maker's mark indistinct, London 1840, the well cast deeply scrolled border with shell cartouche and foliate decoration, with conforming engraved decoration and a coat of arms to the centre with the motto 'HINC FORTIOR ET CLARIOR', on leaf cast scroll feet.
Diameter 58cm, weight approximately 5,200g
