A PAIR OF LARGE SÈVRES-STYLE PORCELAIN COVERED VASES
20th century

In eighteenth century manner, each of baluster shape on a moulded square plinth, the square loop handles to the shoulders with Classical mask terminals, the domed cover with a cone finial, the front and reverse of each body with square reserves decorated with scenes of peasant figures in landscapes signed 'Kandler' (the same scenes on each vase), otherwise glazed in blue celeste with gilt details
