The triple fusee movement quarter striking on eight bells and hour striking on a gong, the shaped silvered and engraved Roman numeral dial with subsidiary chime / silent dial within a glazed cover in an upright case of architectural design in Gothic Revival style with finials to the crow's step parapets above clustered columns to the corners on the moulded plinth base
